Our Story

Nossas Historias

Foundation

Founded in April 2023, CEV is a project that aims to bring accessibility and inclusion to the professional voice market, offering practical training, materials, and guidance for qualified training in dubbing, voice-over work, original voice acting, game localization, and audiobook narration. Its foundation was only possible thanks to a partnership with the Arquipélago HUB school, the educational arm of the Yoho Arsenal production company, which provided the structure and equipment necessary for the project's development.

The dream began a little earlier! The first (unofficial) activity of CEV took place at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in February 2023. Student Cesar Czermak shared some of his experience from the Dublapoa Intensive Workshop (a partnership with Dubrasil) with the students of the "VOICE II" course in the undergraduate Theater program, under the supervision of Professor Gisela Habeyche.

Structure - 2025

In August 2025, the Voice Studies Club became a partner of Fábrica do Futuro , a studio complex with a prominent presence in Latin America. The change was made with the aim of operating with greater freedom and aiming for greater visibility of the project in the Brazilian voice market.

The space features state-of-the-art microphones, headphones, audio interfaces, and monitoring equipment, as well as security systems and an acoustic structure suitable for producing work worthy of the best Brazilian production. Fábrica do Futuro also acts as a partner in the finalization of audio projects, with its professionals trained in mixing and mastering projects according to client needs, whether for games, films, series, or any other audiovisual media.

Recognition

Since its formation, CEV has distinguished itself as a research and accessibility environment, inviting nationally recognized professionals to visit and provide classes, lectures, and discussions. Despite its short history, in September 2025 it received recognition from SATEDRS for its efforts to enhance the regional market, becoming one of the entities holding the Green Seal in Rio Grande do Sul.

With the Green Seal and the responsibility of training qualified professionals, the project is being rebuilt to incorporate theatrical activities and a new vision of voice production and services in Rio Grande do Sul. It is organizing itself internally and with its partners to strengthen ties and develop the regional market.

In partnership with production companies and encouraging the pursuit of opportunities, CEV members have been active in projects related to dubbing, original voice acting, voice-over work, and audiobooks since the project's inception. Developing experiences and subsequently adding these to the larger group. Currently, also working as an independent voice production company, we also work on soap operas, animations, YouTube channels, and all types of content.
